Tale of Two Tarts
I made another run to Amandine.
I knew the lemon tart would be, well, tart, but I was surprised by the tarte rouge. I think it was the raspberry that added the pleasant touch of sour, drawing out the sweet vanilla custard. It was hard to choose a favorite; I liked them both equally. But next time I should just buy one. .... On second thought, nah, why—just don't eat them together.
